| SDARFC SONGS |
An age-old Rugby Tradition is the singing of riebald songs during the "Third Half" or post-match
socials, held by the hosting or home team. Many of these songs are sung to familiar tunes, but the words
have usually been DRASTICALLY, and irreverently altered to match the uber-masculine, blatantly-sexual,
beer-swigging, macho world of rugby.
Camraderie between opposing teams (on and off the pitch) is a major part of rugby and it's this
sense of community that is the overriding theme to Third-Half revelry. Though the beer and bawdy songs, definitely
don't hurt!
