| The SDARFC is a purposely-inclusive and diverse non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of rugby within Southern California by providing a safe and supportive environment where novice-level players can learn the game or improve their skills. Our focus is on welcoming underrepresented groups, including the gay and minority communities, and on fostering the social and community interactions that are a natural outgrowth of team sports.
The SDARFC is currently the only Men's Division IV (beginner's) rugby team in San Diego. The SDARFC welcomes all players regardless of previous experience, physical ability, race, national origin, sexual orientation or fitness level. If you are interested in the sport, either as spectator, player or fan, we want to hear from you! Rugby is also a great way to get in shape. So, if you've been looking for a challenging workout or want to drop those extra pounds and strengthen your core, come out to practice and have fun doing it! We have memberships for experienced and novice players and supporters alike! Joining allows you to attend all team functions (including the drink ups!)
